Faculty and Assistant Faculty

Epsilon Camp is seeking mathematicians to join our distinguished faculty. Faculty applicants must be mathematicians who have published in mathematical journals in their field of research; faculty applicants for the 7-8 age group are not required to have published. All applicants should have interest and experience in working with highly gifted children 7 to 12 years of age with exceptional mathematical ability and a love of mathematics.

Faculty are paid honorarium, provided room and board, and reimbursed for travel to and from camp. To apply, please send an email along with your CV to facultyjobs@epsiloncamp.org.

Counselors

Epsilon Camp is seeking students of mathematics who are passionate about sharing their love of mathematics with young students. The ideal candidate is someone who is both knowledgeable and enthusiastic about mathematics, who is excited about working with children, and who can be depended upon to keep a group of campers safe, supervised, and engaged.

Compensation for this position will be a base salary of $2000, room and board, and travel expenses to and from camp. Counselors must be on site from Thursday prior to the start of camp (July 4, 2024) to Monday following the end of camp (July 22, 2024).

Counselor Job Description

Application deadline: March 1 for first round of selection. We expect to start making offers around March 15 and continue making offers on a rolling basis until all positions are filled.

Staff Assistant

Staff Assistant will work closely with the Camp Director and other Epsilon senior staff. Job responsibilities include assisting with many aspects of camp operations, as well as the camp's procurement and transportation needs.

Compensation for this position will be a base salary of $2500, room and board, and travel expenses to and from camp. Staff Assistant must be on site from Wednesday prior to the start of camp (July 3, 2024) to Monday following the end of camp (July 22, 2024). In addition, a small number of tasks will need to be completed remotely in the weeks leading up to the program.
