How to Donate

Check

This is the preferred method for making a contribution, especially for larger amounts, because the entire gift amount is received by Epsilon Camp. Checks should be made out to "Epsilon Camp" and mailed to the address below.

Epsilon Camp
5319 University Dr. PMB 1997
Irvine, CA 92612

You may write "unrestricted gift" in the memo line, or give other directions. Please include a note with your email address if you would like to receive a tax receipt acknowledging your gift.

Website

You can make a credit card donation directly from this page by clicking on the button below. However, a convenience fee will be charged, equal to 2.9% of the donation plus 30 cents. Since this could add up for large amounts, you may wish to employ one of the other methods for amounts of $1000 or more. If you do donate online, you will be able to specify a gift designation, and include an optional note with any further instructions. You will also receive an email acknowledging your gift.

Employer Matching

If your employer will support any nonprofit or "public charity,” we qualify for matching funds. However, if they only support accredited academic institutions, we do not qualify. Even if an employer can’t classify us as an educational institution, they may be able to classify us as a youth or civic organization, which might work.

Your employer may need our EIN (tax ID), which is 45-3185330.

Donating Stock

Donating appreciated stock to Epsilon allows you to claim a charitable deduction while also avoiding capital gains taxes. Gifts of stock can be transferred to our brokerage account.

Volunteer Grant Programs

Epsilon Camp could not exist without parent volunteers. Volunteer opportunities at camp range from helping campers navigate the cafeteria, to taking photographs and developing the yearbook, to putting together a slideshow for the closing ceremony, to organizing social activities for children and adults. If your employer has a volunteer grant program, the hours you volunteer at camp can translate directly into money donated by your employer to Epsilon Camp.

Sponsor a Camper

Epsilon Camp is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment. Our ability to attract underrepresented students depends directly on being able to offer financial assistance, including sponsorships, to families who need it most. Our long-term goal is to ensure that every applicant who qualifies for Epsilon Camp is able to afford our program.
