Work and Play

While academics are the focus, Epsilon Camp is a family camp. Game nights in the dorms, parent get-togethers, playground time in the evenings, ice cream socials, field trips, and city exploration during free time make camp a great experience for all family members who come along. Returning families warmly welcome new campers and their families into the community and are a great resource before and during camp.

An important part of the Epsilon Camp experience is parent participation. Epsilon Camp cannot exist without parents stepping up as volunteers during camp, and we ask all families to do so. Volunteer opportunities include: walking children to dinner, helping campers navigate the cafeteria, developing the yearbook, planning the closing ceremony slideshow, and organizing social activities for children or adults.

Our expectations and curiosities were high, [but] were consistently met or exceeded. The kids, the parents, dorm life, the campus . . . all melded together [to create] a great experience.

As a first year Epsilon family, we were really unsure what to expect. We couldn’t have been more pleased and thoroughly enjoyed all aspects—math classes and professors, the parent program, and the social connections among campers and parents alike. Invaluable!
